Sarah and Chris Pittenger started Gros Ventre with the goal to create the kinds of wines they most enjoy drinking – inspired by the old world, but not afraid of the new one. Pinot noir is the Gros Ventre Cellars specialty, made from fruit they source from four distinct, cool sites in Anderson Valley and Sonoma County. Their mission is to let those sites shine through the wines in the expressive way that’s unique to Pinot.
