Owners Tim and Denise Wilson founded Denison Cellars in 2009. Tim reached out to winemaking icons Mark Beringer and Bob Sessions and made the pilgrimage to California State University Fresno, where he earned his degree in Enology. He learned to make wine at places like Chateau Ste. Michele, Edna Valley Vineyard, Benton-Lane Winery, and Dobbes Family Estate. Having discovered that pinot noir was his favorite wine to consume, he made that his winemaking focus. Denison Cellars partners with a vineyard in Yamhill-Carlton, owned by the Kiff family.
