Growing up with ambitions to become a fighter pilot, the last thing Benoit Touquette envisioned was wine. Until he was in Bordeaux working mobile bottling lines and saw the infectious passion of the winemakers he met. He then switched his focus to enology and completed two degrees, then left France to intern with Andy Erickson and explore uncharted possibilities in Napa Valley. Working hard, learning from everyone, and pushing himself to deliver the kind of winemaking he believed in, starting Fait-Main because he fell in love with a vineyard… and then another, and another.
